Privacy Policy

Last updated: November 1, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what information is involved when you use clocbox at clocbox.com, and the choices you have.

1. What clocbox is

clocbox is a free, browser-based desk clock and focus timer. You do not need an account, password, registration, or subscription to use it, and there is no sign-up anywhere on the website.

2. How the clock and timer work

The clock shows the time from your device's own system clock, or converts it to the time zone you select. The conversion happens in your browser.

The focus timer works out the remaining time from the difference between the current time and the moment you started. It is a general productivity utility, not a certified timekeeping or safety-critical system.

You are never asked for your name, email address, or any other personal information to use the clock or the timer.

3. Preferences saved in your browser

To remember how you like the clock, clocbox saves a small set of preferences in your browser's local storage on your device. These are:

  • Selected theme
  • Night Mode on or off
  • Selected time zone
  • Selected focus duration and any custom focus duration
  • Pixel Shift on or off

These preferences stay in the browser on the device where you set them. clocbox does not send them to its own servers, and they are not shared between your devices. Clearing your browser data or site data will remove them, and clocbox will return to its defaults.

4. Hosting and technical information

Like every website, clocbox is delivered by hosting and infrastructure providers. To deliver, secure, and maintain the website, these providers may process technical information that browsers send automatically, such as your IP address, browser type, device type, the page requested, and the time of the request. This may include aggregate visit statistics generated by the hosting platform, such as page views and approximate location.

5. Advertising

clocbox shows advertisements served by Google AdSense. Google, and partners Google works with, may use cookies, device identifiers, IP addresses, or similar technologies to deliver, measure, personalize, or limit advertisements. What is used depends on Google's configuration, the laws where you are, and the choices you have made.

Google processes this information under its own privacy policy. clocbox itself does not build advertising profiles about you. You can learn more at How Google uses information from sites that use its services.

6. Analytics

clocbox does not add its own analytics or tracking scripts, such as Google Analytics. Aggregate visit statistics may be provided by the hosting platform, as described in Section 4.

7. Third-party services

The only third-party services used by clocbox are:

  • Website hosting and infrastructure, to deliver the website.
  • Google AdSense, to show advertisements.

clocbox does not load external web fonts, social media widgets, or other third-party tools.

8. Your choices and privacy rights

You can view, block, or delete cookies and local storage at any time through your browser settings. You can manage personalized advertising from Google at My Ad Center. See our Cookies & Advertising Policy for details.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights under privacy laws, such as the right to know about, access, correct, or delete personal information, or to object to certain processing. Because clocbox does not ask for or keep personal information about you, most information connected with your visit is held by your own browser or by Google. You can exercise choices over that information directly through your browser settings and Google's tools above. Whether a particular request applies depends on the law that covers you.

9. Children

clocbox is a general-audience utility and is not directed at children. It does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

10. Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated when the website changes. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised.
